This site is dedicated to
the Lindbergh High School "Class of 1976"
The
Lindbergh School District was formed in 1949 by the merger of 5 schools. The high school is located at 4900 S. Lindbergh in
St. Louis County, Missouri. During the 1970's Lindbergh was one of the largest school districts in the state of Missouri
with a total enrollment of about 12,000. Our graduation was held on Thursday evening June 3, 1976. A total of 949 students
received their diploma that evening. This was the largest class to ever graduate from Lindbergh. There were late graduates,
but the class never exceeded 1000. The school district is named after the aviator Charles Lindbergh and the school name is
the "Flyers". The school colors are Green and Gold. The year 1976 was also the Bicentennial of our country
and was the theme of our class. .
